Stained silverware holders

Well I couldn't leave them alone, I had to stain them. I stained them with a coffee mixture and then baked them. They are not showing the stain that good in this picture though.

Silverware holder

Made a few of these silverware holders for Thanksgiving Dinner. They were not hard and did not take long to make. Dh says they are missing something on the top half but after I put the silverware in them he said they look fine. They are supposed to be coffee stained yet, but I think I may leave them like they are.

Last ones

These are the last of my samplers that I have. The round one will become a candle mat and the other I'm not sure what I will do with it yet.
I have started on some other items (not samplers, taking a break on them) and will show you all when I get them done.

These are 3 of my most recent samplers that I have gotten done over the past few days. The Halloween one will go in a frame and the other 2 will become pillows.

Pillow

Finished up this pillow the other day, I had intended to put it on my ottoman in my bedroom but it came out a little bit to big for that spot. So I will give this pillow to my Mom and make another one for that spot.

This is on my kitchen table. It is a ceramic pumpkin that my Mom got for me at a yard sale and I have it sitting on a prim chair pad.

These are some of the pumpkins that I made, along with a little scarecrow.
Even with all the Halloween stuff that I have made lately, once I got it all out it seems like I need more now. Oh well, I guess I will have to look for more patterns to do some other things. I need to finish up the decor outside with some Mums, cornstalks & pumpkins and then I will post those pictures.
I've been busy working on some samplers but it seems like on every one I've run out of at least one color so I haven't been able to finish any of them. Went to Wal-mart yesterday but they have stopped selling the floss, and my nearest craft store is 30 minutes away, so between work and everyday stuff, I don't know when I'll get there. But I'll post any that I get done in the meantime.

Tin Light

Found this little tin light at a yard sale over the weekend for 10 cents. DH thinks I will get around $5.00 for it if I put it on Ebay. I say I will not get that much for it, so we have a bet going on..so this will be listed on Ebay and we will see what happens.
