Pocket bunnies

Finally got these bunnies done Sunday morning. I do not have an old quilt to use for their pockets like the pattern said so I went through my Mom's box of fabric scraps and used some of that. I also do not have a craft store close by so I could not get sweet annie for their pockets so I just used some dried flowers that I have sitting around. Some of these guys are going in my Etsy store and I will be keeping 2 of them for myself.

New Bowl Shelf

I won this on Ebay last week and it just arrived yesterday, so I put it on my kitchen cabinet because they are bare and I have been looking for something like this for them. They first pic is the one from ebay and the second picture is how I fixed it up. The stuff inside will work for now until I get other stuff for it, and I need to change the stuff inside the jars, I want to put some pip berries in one and cinnamon sticks in the other. I just need to pick some up for them.

Freebies in the mail

The UPS guy just dropped this off at my house, it's a fanny pack that had a book about poisoning and a medicine diary (to keep track of your meds) and some cabinet locks. I don't remember signing up for this but then again I sign up for a lot of things and I'm surprised that they actually show up.

Spring bunnies

These are the same pattern as the chocolate bunnies that I did a few days back and since I ran out of brown paint I decided to try some pastel colors. These are for sale on in my etsy shop if anyone is interested. I think they turned out cute even if they are not prim.

Carrots for sale

I seen something similar to this somewhere on the internet and thought since I have both a rabbit & carrot pattern I would make my own. My rabbit got a little darker than I wanted and I had a lot of trouble with the nose on this guy but overall I am happy with how he turned out.

Repainted Candle Box

Some of you may remember this candle box that I got at a thrift store last year. This is what it looked like when I bought it.

I then painted it barn red. Well I never really liked it that color and therefore never hung it up any where. So the other day I decided to repaint it.

I repainted it mustard yellow and then sanded it down so some of the red would show through. I love the way it turned out and now have it hanging on my kitchen cabinet by my sink.

My Recent Shopping Deals

Thought I would share a few of the good deals that I have gotten lately.
First is the candle deal from The Company Store, they were having a clearance deal on the votives, 1-12 pack for $1.99 with free shipping, so I bought 2 packs. Total of 24 votives for $3.98. I have enough votives to last 6 months or more as I don't burn them as much as I do regular jar candles.

Next 3 pictures are of some baby boy clothes that I got from K-Mart. They had a bunch of baby clothes on clearance, so I went through it and picked out some stuff that I thought I would be able to use. It is hard to shop for clothes as I don't know how old the baby will be when he finally comes home, or even what time of the year, ex..summer, fall..etc. So I try to buy stuff that can be used at any time of the year and the sizes are usually 6 months or older. Full price for all of this would have $97.00, I paid $15.00 for all of it.



A pair of pajamas from Victoria's Secret for $8.00 shipped, on clearance and had a $10.00 off coupon plus found a code for free shipping.

Some free dog food and a bag of treats, totally free with coupons. Happy doggies.

My last deal is for Totino's pizza rolls. Weis was having a 10 for $10 sale on them, so that made them $1.00 per box. I got some coupons for .40 off and Weis doubles so that made it .80 off each box. So total for each box was .20 after coupon. I got 24 boxes for a total of $4.80, before sale & coupons it would have been $44.40. Now if I could just find deals like this every day I would be happy.

Black Cat

I know this pattern has been around for awhile, but I busy making other things and never got around to this. Took a break from doing bunnies for Easter & Spring and finally got this guy done.

Ebay win & Chocolate bunnies

My newest ebay purchase, a set of Pfaltzgraff mixing bowls. I am slowing building up my collection of Pfaltzgraff; I love this pattern, it's my favorite of all that they have.

Some chocolate bunnies that I finished yesterday. They are darker then the picture, the flash made them look lighter. I will be making some of these for Etsy also, love how they turned out and there were so easy to make.

New Sheep

I made one of these for myself awhile back but this one will go in my Etsy shop.

Winter

Another sampler that I finally got in a frame. I kept the frame red instead of painting it black and think it looks good. The frame is already distressed so I didn't have to do anything to it.

Baby Quilt

This is a baby quilt that my Mom made from some scraps of material that my cousin gave to her. Looks great Mom, good job.

Christmas Wishes

Another sampler I finally got framed. This one I am keeping for myself.

Home Sampler
