Yeah, Yard sales have started up again and this is the first item that my Mom picked up for me. He's a roly poly fat snowman, isn't he cute? Have yard sales started where you guys live yet?

Just an Update

Hello, everyone I am still here, I just have not been making any crafts lately as we are just having a string of bad luck it seems.

First we had to put our beloved dog "Shadow" to sleep as he had heart disease and he was suffering so much.
It's been 2 weeks since he his gone and it is so weird without him around, my other dog still looks for him daily.

Then I found a lump under my arm and had to have surgery to remove it, so I have to be careful how I move my arm so I don't pull the stitches out. Still waiting for the test results to come back to find out what the lump was. They think it was just a cyst. No news is good news right?

Went and had an eye exam 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for my glasses to come in, think I will call them bright & early Monday morning.

Dh went to go to work one morning and his car would not start, so we had to get that towed to the garage and fixed, another BIG bill.

My car is going to need 4 new tires before next winter...another bill.

Dh got a jury summons for June, more time off work if he gets selected. (He just started this job in January.)

My adoption case worker is leaving the agency for another job, so now we have to deal with someone else, have not been in contact with us yet.

On top of all that I have a major toothache that won't go away no matter how many pills I take.

Can I just say that it's been a lousy past 2 weeks. Hope things get better real soon cause I've had enough.

Williamsburg Pottery

Just a few pieces of my Williamsburg Pottery collection. I found my first piece (1st picture) in New Hampshire a few years back in an antique store and fell in love with the simplicity of the piece. The rest of the pieces were bought either on ebay or from local auctions.

Goodbye Shadow

Friday night we had to say goodbye to our much loved dog "Shadow."
He was suffering from heart disease and his stomach was so filled up with fluid that it was pushing his heart forward. There was basically no hope because what they wanted to do to him, he could have died from anyway, and it meant leaving him at the vet's for the weekend and we did not want him die there alone.
We did not want him to suffer anymore so we made the hardest decision we have ever had to make, we had him put to sleep.
He was 15 years old and lived a very spoiled life and I know he is in a much better place now and not suffering anymore.

I can see the pain in his eyes in this picture and it tears at my heart.

Goodbye Shadow, we miss & love you.
