Ok everyone, I need your opinions...I do not have regular oven, we have a wall oven and a separate cook top..which would be fine if the cook top would be a normal size but it's not. So I am so jealous of all you ladies that can have noodle boards for your stove tops. But I thought I would try this little tray on the top of mine and see what it looks like. I am still trying to decide it I like it there or not???? So what do you all think..yes or no???
I can't wait for the day I can replace this cook top with a glass top one.
See the weird arrangement of the cook top??? I tried the tray on an angle but I did not like that. Should it stay or go???

I think it look fine. But if you are not satisfies, maybe you can get you a much larger stove board made by having it raised up enough to go over your knobs too. So it could have a rim around the bottom side that would make it sit on top of the entire surface. Kid of like the "apron" on a table. I hope I'm explaining this right.
Have a great day!
Carolyn, I never thought of that, I will have to see what kind of wood we have or see what I can find. Thanks for the idea.
Hi Debbi,
I like it and also the sifter with the spoons:)
Carolyn had a great idea but until you get that made it looks great:)

Good Morning~
This is my opinion, but I have to agree with you. The scale is all wrong! I would leave the sifter on the stove and maybe move your tray to the table.
I know what you mean about being jealous about all these prim gals having a stovetop cover. I found a make-do one that isn't actually one, but it will do til I can buy me one or make one. Mine actually use to be a picture that I found at an antique mall and I just flipped it over and used the other side. I will tell you this...the neat thing I like about my make-do stovetop cover is that it is tall enough to go over my burners on the one side with the ugly picture, but when I turn it over it just rests on my burners which I don't really care for. If I do make myself one then I will probably make it tall enough to fit over my burners to where it isn't resting on them and uneven.
I would definitely keep the sifter on your stovetop, but try exchanging the tray to your table and moving something else over in exchange. That is the beauty about prim decorating...you just play until you find something that looks just right.
Good Luck, I am still working on my make-do cover and what to put on mine (lol).
Hugs,
Lisa
I think your stove looks neat, don't see those anymore. Your old stove is cleaner than my newer one;)
Debbie
I think that is is fine, until you can get one that you really like. I love the sifter!
Have a great day, Denise
I think that I would ask myself...will this work until I can get my new glass-top stove? I say yes...I think that ii looks fine and that having a small one would be better than not having one at all.
Hope you're having a great day.

I love your lil' tray and your carrots!!! I wanted my hubby to make me one of those noodle boards, but I keep thinking what a pain it would be everytime I cook something to have to move it, so I'm still undecided. Have a great day!!!
Oh Debbi, I had one just like that many moons ago and hated it! lol
But you are making the noodle board and tin work very nicely.
HAPPY EASTER
