I only have a few minutes as we are off to the Poconos to check out a store called the Christmas Tree Shop so I will not be posting any pictures of the Christmas tour of my home today but I wanted to show you all the new prim snowman that I made. He is not as white as he is showing up in the pic, I did tea stain & bake him. I will be back tomorrow and we will continue with the tour of my home.

Kitchen for Christmas
This is my kitchen for Christmas, there is a lot of little items in here as there really isn't room for anything else.
This ceramic tree was made by my Grandmother and my Mom passed it down to me.
Added this smowman to the wreath.
I haven't made it to Wal-Mart to buy the big jingle bells that they have so I added my little ones that I painted because the bowl looked some empty just sitting there waiting. This is on my kitchen table.
A tree and santa that sit on my stove top.
Some smowmen that I made a few years ago.
My hutch already for Christmas. On the top is more of my nutcracker collection. (If you click on the picture you will get a bigger better picture and be able to see the nutcrackers if you want)If you look to the left into the laundry room you can see my computer is decorated for Christmas also. Yes, my pc is in the laundry room, it's the only place left in the house to put it as we are turning my old pc room (real small) into a big walk-in closet, plus it's too cold in that old pc room...brrr
Love this snowman that I bought awhile back. I am working on some snowman to add to the crocks, the snowman that is there now is for my Mom so he is not staying there.
That ends the tour of the kitchen, come back tomorrow for some more pics.

Tour Continues
My Christmas home tour continues, today we are going to tour the bathroom. Enjoy
This is on the bathroom door. Bought this off of ebay last year.
The top of my medicine cabinet, the santa plate I got at an antique store in Maine and the nutcracker is part of a collection that my Mom gave to me years ago. I added the little stars to the garland and I forgot to turn the garland lights on for the picture.
Added to trees to the shelf and a santa and baby Jesus to the back of the toilet. The baby Jesus belonged to my Mom and she had it ever since I can remember, we used to have a electric train under the tree when I was growing up and my sisters and I used to fight over who got to take baby Jesus for a train ride.
Bought these 2 snowmen pictures off of ebay..I sure shop on ebay a lot..lol
Last is my cabinet that got all the left over stuff that I couldn't find a place for..lol. Filled the bowl with cookie cutters..they are hard to see in the picture, and added the santas and snowmen. The kissing santa couple inside the cabinet is another item that my Mom had ever since we were little, they went on lots of train rides also. That ends the tour for today, hope you enjoyed it.

My Home for Christmas
Welcome to my home for Christmas, hope you enjoy the tour. We will start the tour off in the laundry room and everyday here after we will tour another room. Enjoy.
My black chimney cabinet with one of the stitcheries that I did.
My snowman that I bought last year off of ebay, this guy is big and heavy. He takes up almost the whole door.
The top of my washer, the Christmas shaker box just peeks out from behind the plant.
The top of my dryer with another stitchery that I did even though it's not a Christmas one.
My laundry room is small so that is the end of the tour for today. Tomorrow we will continue the tour with the bathroom.

Table setting
This is my table setting for Thanksgiving, I just used stuff from around the house.
A close up of the center piece. My plastic canvas turkey with the pumpkins that I got on clearance from K-Mart a few weeks back.
A close up of one of the settings, the dishes belonged to my great aunt. They are a Johnson Brothers collection. My silverware holders that I made worked out great.

snowman
This is my first snowman of the season. I altered him a little then what the pattern called for. I put the jingle bell on his hat instead of a puffy star and also the star above his tree should have been a puffy star. I am no good at sewing stars and getting their points to come out right so I changed it a bit.

Candle Mat
Thia is my very first candle mat, I did mess it up a little but overall I'm happy with the way it turned out. I did not leave enough material around the outside when I sewed it together because you can't even see the running stitch in yellow that goes around the entire mat. Next time I will know better.

Happy Birthday Mom
Today is my Mom's birthday. Happy Birthday Mom!! I love you!! Thank you for being my Mom and always being there for me. I know I gave you a lot of grief while I was growing up and for that I'm sorry. You have since become a very special person to me and I cherish every moment we have together, and all the rest yet to come. Hope you have a great day. Happy Birthday to you, I love you!

Finally Friday
Hi all, I'm still here, I have just not been crafting anything new as I am out of material and I haven't found a place locally to buy any as my Wal-mart has stopped selling it. Does anyone know a good place online to buy muslin and such?
Have been busy working and trying to get Christmas presents done and out of the way. About half-way there. Have vacation coming up the week after Thanksgiving so I will be putting up my Christmas decor that week as well as getting some stuff done around the house and hopefully getting the rest of the holiday shopping done.
Joined a stocking swap through the blog world and need to get stuff for that also. Working on that this weekend. Hope you all have a great weekend and I will still post with some pictures of my house and soon my Christmas stuff that I made and will still keep looking for material.

More Fall decor
This wagon is out front in my flower bed. I put a pot of Mums and some fake pumpkins in the front seat. Was really windy last night and it blew this wagon right over so I had to go pick it up this morning and I am missing one of the pumpkins now, oh well. You can also see one of the dryer vent hose pumpkins that I made.
This scarecrow I got from an on-line swap a did a few years back.

Fall decor
Took down the Halloween stuff yesterday and left out the pumpkins and such for fall/Thanksgiving. I was at K-Mart yesterday and they had all their Halloween and even Fall decor half off. I picked up 3 light-up pumpkins, and 2 of the glass pumpkins in the 2nd picture. Wish I would have gotten more of those now, as they look really good.

Amerciana Pineapple
This is an americana pineapple that I finished for my front door for after the Holidays. It did not turn out as grungy as I would like, but after I paint something I have a hard time getting it any darker. Anyone have any ideas for a darker stain that will go over paint? Dh says it does not look like a pineapple, what do you think?
