I made some changes to my china cabinet, I wanted to show off some of my pottery and bowls that were being hidden in cabinets because I had no place for them. So I took out the china and put them in there. It looks a little empty compared to when the china was in there, but that just means I get to buy some more pieces to fill it up. It looks weird seeing something else in there besides the china and will take some getting used to, but I like the way it looks now. Nice and simple, although I do have a blue & yellow theme going on..lol. Oh, and I added the toolbox that I bought at the antique store to the top of the cabinet, love how it looks up there. (Oh I just noticed that I need to center the small plates on the 2nd shelf, lol)

Very nice! Change is good:)
That's a nice change! You could add some white lights on top for some evening light. I like your yellow collection.
I love it!
I have the same china cabinet "issues" as you do.
I have Great Grandmother's china in there but I would so love to be brave like you and put some of my "own" stuff in there.
Maybe I can use you as my inspiration???
Great job!
Thank you ladies, I still think it needs more stuff, but that's all I have for now.
Rosemary, you can do it...go for it!
I had to comment, I can spot Pfaltzgraff Folk Art a mile away!! It's one of my prize collections in my kitchen. I love your cupboard.

Tiff, I love the folk art pattern and I hoping to get some pieces in the very near future. I have seen the pictures of some your pieces on your blog and I'm jealous of all the pieces that you have.
